| Abstract:Trenchless technology expands rapidly in China. At present, the most popular trenchless pipeline installation method is guided boring, but in the guided boring cave-in of the borehole wall eternally are encountered in quicksand formation. Searching for solutions, the author has designed a Swallow-tail-back reaming bit, in addition grouting and mud protection are recommended before and during pipe installation in quicksand formation respectively. |
