A description is given to the survey of part of the foreign drill rig modular design and the use of the method in the enterprise. The drillrig of modular design offers modularity and can further meet the different demands of the market. For production with many sizes of products but on a small commercial scale, adoption of the modular design and management, in combination with grouping technology and CAD, can reduce the design and production cycle of the product, allowing the enterprise to gain economic benefit similar to that of commercial production.
