The bottom of basement of Super High-rise Buildings B5-4~7, which are the part of Guangzhou Taojinyuan, was located on completely weathering and strongly weathering powder sandstones. According to the results of soil press test, the shallow base which is on the top of natural or complex foundations was adopted in design. Because of putting experiment, design, work into a very closed link, as well as the method of work is trustworthy, it has been the succeed case of super high-rise building in Guangzhou City. The experiment conditions, design conceptions, project main points and application results were introduce.
