    Abstract:

As for the characteristics which soil animals possess by evolution for existing in wet and sticky soil, this article introduces the reason why the soil animals’ unsmoothing cutical is favourable to reducing adhesion and shaking off clay, and the analysis of the peculiar claw shape of pangolin. Based on the above, the proposal of bionics bit is put forward, which might solve the problem of bit balling in drilling.
