Being dead against the absorptive sticking of drilling pipes frequently encountering during drilling, the causes, conditions and technical treatments of the problems were discussed in details. The act mechanism of the newly developing sticking reliever XS-1 was analyzed. The operation rules and points for attention were put forward.
