This paper introduces the working principium and the characteristic of seismic CT technology. And then taking actual project cases into account, the practicality of the technology in forecasting the geological conditions which will be encountered during tunneling and its guidance role to engineering were analyzed. The application prospect of the technical in the field of geo-technical engineering was pointed out.
