By an engineering example, performances of large diameter concrete pipe are discussed on the engineering quality, construction technique, project investment and environment protection. The result reveals that the concrete pipe have such advantages as better durability, good environment protection, less pre-investment and maintenance, high efficiency on construclion, easy to operate, and with the ability of pipe-jacking in curve. So there is good application prosperity for it.
