The paper introduced the characteristics and application effect of the new wire-line coring drill pipe and the spindle coring drill with mechanical transmission continuous drillpipe feeding, analyzed the technical measures to improve the efficiency of coring drilling construction, reduce cost, save energy and reduce consumption. The paper presented the development direction and put forward the suggestion on the geological coring drill.
