Take an example of practical application of wire-line core drilling technology in ZK2108 of a water diversion project in Central Yunnan, the paper introduces the characteristics and application details of wire-line core drilling technology and makes comparison analysis on the practical effects. By the exploration and analysis on the key technical links, the foundation is laid for the promotion and application of wire-line core drilling in geological exploration of water conservancy and hydropower project.
