The paper introduces the development situation of aluminum alloy drill pipe both in China and abroad and analyzes the advantages of aluminum alloy wire-line coring drill pipe in geological drilling. φ71mm×5.5mm aluminum alloy coring drill pipe body and steel connection structure were designed in detail, the main technical parameters were obtained by the static tension and torque tests on the rods.
