Based on the special requirements of drilling for shale gas and coalbed gas exploration, the research is carried out on large diameter wire-line coring technology. This paper mainly introduces the structure, action principle, characteristics and drilling experiment effects of weighted combined wire-line coring drilling tools. Through the construction practice, the paper gives out some ideas on the development of large diameter wire-line coring technology.
