Abstract:

According to the typical strong abrasive formations in Qinghai province dongkunlun and qimantage area, the research and analysis were made for impregnated diamond bit in matrix materials, diamond concentration and sintering technology. The bench tests and field texts for bits were carried out. On the basis of the test data, the design of the bit was determined, and a new type impregnated diamond bit suitable to the strong abrasive formations has been developed.
