There are many defects in the traditional reinforced deep mixed piles construction, such as low efficiency in steel pipe inserting operation, high cost and difficult control on elevation height and verticality. A set of new and simple method of deep mixing pile inserting steel pipes was designed for a foundation pit support project in Nanjing, the devices of this system are simple to manufacture and install, the construction difficulty and cost are reduced and the working efficiency is improved.
