Abstract:The dynamic sounding on angular gravels is researched systematically, based on a number of major projects in the Yaluzangbu River valley. The research results show that the dynamic sounding in-situ testing can be used in angular gravels stratum on the area, and that the hit numbers can be modified and the bearing capacity and deformation module can be check out according to or from relative regulations and standards. It is instructive to build in Tibet region.

Abstract:The general methods to determine the ultimate bearing capacity of single pile in geotechnical engineering are narrated. The chief factors affected the ultimate bearing capacity of single pile are discusses. Upon this basis, using the stochastic-fuzzy method determines the ultimate bearing capacity of single pile and gives illustrative examples.
