Abstract:During drilling of Well CCSD-1 of China Continental Scientific Drilling Project, a new type of drilling technology system with Chinese Characteristics was developed. The main contents of the system and its results gained in Well CCSD-1 were introduced. The scientific drilling projects which are implementing or will be put in practice were introduced in short. The good prospects of exploration engineering were forecasted, based on ‘the State Council’s Decision on Strengthening Geological Work’ which will be announced and ‘Crisis Mine Replacement Resources Exploration Plan’ which already started up in 2005.

Abstract:The important signification of mineral resources to economical and social development of our country, the serious situation confronted by mineral resources in our country, and the necessary of actualizing ‘Crisis Mine Replacement Resources Exploration Plan’ were discussed. Measures on making and installation of steel stud, selection of pile rigs, design and installation as well as making of fixation frames were taken to meet the pile elevation and verticality requirement. Abstract:The shoring results for coal mine under the soft rock conditions were not perfect. The author thought that adjustment of pre-stress in a efficient method to improve shoring results. Test was made on worm steel anchor, Huaibei pre-stressed anchor and high pre-stress anchor, to compare the shoring results. The high pre-stress anchor shown that it can efficiently control the surrounding rock deformation in tunnel under deep earth. Meanwhile it has good economic benefits.
