Abstract:The borehole of Guanzhuang gold field in Yuanling was drilled with high inclination(45°), complex rock lithology, 10-70m fracture zone, serious leakage and block-falling. Drilling bit, construction technology, mud configuration and confection process were studied and selected to avoid the accidence in borehole with satisfied core recovery and increased drilling efficiency.

Abstract:Conventional coring tools can be used for directional drilling according to the analysis on the factors that can affect the core recovery. But core recovery is lower than vertical well, and even lower with borehole curvature increasing. The paper puts forward the technology of improving core recovery of directional well by further analysis and provides the basis for development of directional coring tools. Drilling data both at home and abroad proved the conclusion above.

Abstract:In Xuyonggeba coalfield exploration, the majority of stratum inclination was 75 degrees, some even to 89 degrees, directional drilling equipment with single shot camera was applied. The paper expounded the difficulties of coalfield exploration in steep rock formation and the solving methods with the case of hole ZK69-22 construction, and introduced the successful application of directional drilling technology with single shot camera in coalfield exploration.

Abstract:Electromagnetic measurement while drilling(EM-MWD)is a new technology in present petroleum drilling, which is applied in directional drilling in big oilfields in China. According to the low resistivity in petroleum formation, serious electromagnetic wave signal attenuation and limited surveying depth in construction process, assumption was put forward to design a small diameter EM-MWD system for solid deposit of high-resistivity formation and shallow drilling depth. The paper analyzed the technical requirements and the feasibility of EM-MWD.

Abstract:Borehole stability is a key problem in complex formation drilling. According to the analysis on ABD-1 compound drilling fluid that bases mainly on asphalt, plastic asphalt can expand 5~7m in the fissure of 0.5~16cm, but only 1m in the smaller cranny. Field application was made on ABD-1 compound drilling fluid assisted by surfactant and bentonite, more than 430m drilling in sand and mud layer was completed.

Abstract:Based on the soil critical equilibrium theory, the paper discussed the distribution of earth pressure on retaining wall under the working conditions with or without excavation and backfilling between the wall and ground by thinlayer method, deducted the formulas of active earth pressure strength and coefficient of active earth pressure. The results show that the relation between the earth pressure strength and the depth of wall is linear under the working condition with excavation and backfilling and nonlinear under the working condition without excavation and backfilling between the wall and ground.

Abstract:Based on the field case, long spiral super-fluid concrete grouting pile was introduced on construction technology, application scope, technical features and the estimation of vertical bearing capacity of a single pile. Comparing with conventional bored-grouting pile, this technology has advantages of simple operation, environmental protection, rapid construction speed and good pile quality with 50% bearing capacity increased, more than 40% concrete amount reduced and 40% construction cost saved.

Abstract:There exists a large gap in the soft ground settlement between theory prediction and the practice,so it is difficult to meet the design requirements and is not conducive to guide the construction. Combination of existing theoretical prediction methods and field observation information is helpful to control the engineering construction. With the combination of genetic algorithm and BP optimization method to train the network, weights of BP neural network can be optimized; with Gong Paz curve to decompose the settlement timing, network was trained by offset of settlement trend line. Good application results were achieved in predicting soft ground settlement by using this method.

Abstract:According to all of the technical standards in China, bearing capacity of prefabricated pile is calculated without taking into account the piling methods. But more and more engineering cases showed that under the same condition, the bearing capacity of pile foundation would be lower by hammer-driven than by static-pressure. The paper analyzed the difference from the soil mass and the effect on strength recovery after construction according to pile-setting mechanism, extruding function, pore pressure and dissipation.

Abstract:In the formation of sea reclamation region, backfill only experienced short time with most filling material of excavated-stone, so the loose structure, large interstice, smooth connectivity of underground water & sea water and strong scouring by tidal action existed, which brought difficulties in borehole completion and slurry solidification for water-proof curtain construction. Based on the detailed analysis on the engineering geological condition, practice and innovation were carried on for hole boring technology and construction sequence of jet-grouting pile. Abstract:Vibrating boring and high-pressure jet grouting is an integrated technologies of drilling and grouting and advanced high-pressure jetting anti-seepage wall construction technology for one-step wall forming. Anti-seepage concretion was formed by punching shearing, mixing, lifting, replacing, packed pressing and permeable solidity with high-pressure jet flow. Fine silt dam by hydraulic filling was used in hydro-junction dam engineering for the first time, and high-pressure jetting anti-seepage wall was also for the first time used for seepage control. Large flow vibrating boring and high-pressure jet grouting is an innovation in high-pressure jet grouting technology, which can not only ensure construction quality but also increase working efficiency.

Abstract:Test on the electrochemical mechanism of nickel depositing in ammonium bath with computer aided electrochemical workstation, the experiments were made on effect to nickel deposition by concentration of nickel sulfate & ammonium chloride and plating bath temperature & pH value. The results indicated that the cathodic polarization of matrix depositing increased by the addition of ammonium chloride with higher pH and lower temperature. This was beneficial for the refinement of nickel crystal and the electrode process was not affected by adding ammonium chloride. Indoor drilling tests were used to the selected bath formula by the electrochemical experiments. Bit of φ41/27mm was plated with the formula of 280g/L nickel sulfate, 19g/L ammonium chloride, 35g/L boric acid and 0.1g/L sodium dodecyl sulfate at pH value of 5.2, cathodic current density of 3.6A/dm2 and temperature of 45℃±1℃, the average penetration rate was 1.94m/h and wearing rate 0.092mm/m while drilling in sericitization quartz plagioclase porphyrite of drillability grade Ⅷ; the service life was similar to the conventional nickelcobalt electroplated bit, but the penetration rate was 0.18m/h higher.
