Abstract:With the continuously development of deep and peripheral prospecting, a new type of deephole drilling rig matched with monitoring system of drilling parameters is required, and all hydraulictop head core drilling rigs will be the main drilling rigs for deep drilling in future. CUG-2 monitoring system of drilling parameter monitor was designed by China University of Geosciences to match the 2000m all hydraulictop head core drilling rig specially. This article introduced the design characteristics and testing parameters of CUG-2 system and emphatically introduced the parameters detection principle which was different to the principles for normal rotary drilling and shaftdrilling rigs as well as lectotype installation of sensors, including hole depth, drill speed, torque, horsepower and flow out rate.

Abstract:Built with a magnet beacon sub, a magnetic signal acquisition unit, a magnetic sensor probe and a set of professional analysis software, SmartMag target-hitting guidance system interprets the geometry position correlation between the drilling bit and the sensor set in the target borehole and finally guides the drilling reaching or avoiding the target area. The paper introduced industrial test trial on SmartMag targethitting guidance system. Based on the earlier researches, the successful operation results have been achieved during the practical test trial of the system.

Abstract:Foaming breaking is very important for environmental protection and economic development in foam drilling, but current foam breaking device cannot meet the requirements. Further study was made by establish the indoor test platform for foam breaking device, the relation between pressure and foam breaking rate was determined; numerical simulation was made on floating pressure change in foam breaking device by VOF model of FLUENT software, and the result was the same to the experiment.

Abstract:Research analysis was made on the water-quench heat treatment for petroleum drill pipe joint. The paper introduced the comparative test of hardness and hardness uniformity by water-quench and oil-quench processes; and also introduced the effect of quenching liquid to the cooling rate of drill pipe joints under different conditions. The research result shows that the waterquench process can improve the degree of martensite of drill pipe joints with the quality of quench enhancing.

Abstract:The Republic of Mali in the Western Africa is a serious watershortage country. This article introduces the technology of smallerdiameter outlet well (forage) drilling and largerdiameter storage well (puit citerne) drilling, connection of outlet and storage wells, disinfections and water pumping experiment according to the 147 wells matching engineering in Mali and analyzed the construction problems possible encountered with the solutions. Abstract:Because of the high ground stress of underground powerhouse in Jinping first stage hydropower station, the local rock crushing, layered split damage and surrounding rock depth deepening & displacement enlarging occurred with the release of stress and redistribution. In order to realize anchorage support effect as soon as possible to ensure bracing surrounding rock stability and engineering safety, the original design of in-situ concrete anchor pier was adjusted to be steel anchor pier with good quality and progress.
