Abstract:During the coring of loose and soft formation in the subsea and continental water region, there are many difficulties such as poor quality of core and low core recovery. The hydraulic pressure shear coring tool was designed to solve these problems. The paper introduced its design principles, configuration features and the laboratory test effect.

Abstract:Linear elastic constitutive model was used to analyze the stress distribution in the vertical wellbore; Mohr-Coulomb criterion, Drucker-Prager criterion and Mogi-Coulomb strength criterion were respectively applied to calculate the minimum fluid column pressure required to maintain stable wellbore for the crustal stress measurement and monitoring borehole in Pinggu. By the contractive analysis, because of the intermediate principal stress, the minimum fluid column pressure required to maintain wellbore stable could be reduced. The minimum fluid column pressure derived from three criteria show the consistent variation trend with the depth in corresponding diagraph, which indicates that three criteria have their own applicability: Mohr-Coulomb criterion is conservative, Drucker-Prager criteria is somewhat dangerous and Mogi-Coulomb criterion is superior to the first two.

Abstract:There were difficulties of broken formation, poor cementation, circulation lost and collapsing in Nanping mining area, and several boreholes could not reach the designed depth. By attempts of washing fluid selection, borehole structure simplification and drilling technology improvement, the scrap ZK474 and ZK477 were displaced and reconstructed with success. The paper mainly introduced the wall protection and leakage control measures.

Abstract:The paper discusses the difficulties of hole cleaning before casing for directional deviated well construction in collapse-columns and presents an easy manufacturing method of fishing tool for hole cleaning pipe, which can handle fishing rapidly and effectively with less loss. Abstract:Sidetracking in φ177.8mm case is one of the main development directions for vertical wells in old Tahe oilfield in recent years. Sidetracking in carboniferous kalashayi formation, iron scraps accumulate in the case opening because of large circulating pressure loss and narrow window for upward iron scraps, which bring high pump pressure, tangle cutter and difficult cutter backstroking; formation compactibility makes low penetration rate and blocking; penetrating 2 different pressure systems of carboniferous and ordovician causes lost circulation, large torque and drag. By the optimization of bit, drilling parameter, steerable motor and drilling tool assembly and by the trajectory monitoring and mud technique, sidetracking was successfully completed for old well reconstruction in Tahe oilfield.

Abstract:The cement-sodium silicate slurry is widely used in grouting and water stopping, and the solidification characteristics of slurry have the direct effect on such engineering. The gelation time and fluidity of the slurry with different water/cement ratio have been studied on the theoretical basis of setting and hardening of cement-sodium silicate slurry. Contrast tests have been done to research the influence of admixtures to the solidification characteristics of slurry such as FDN, SM, NF, UNF-5, citric acid, polyphosphate, tartaric acid and disodium hydrogen phosphate. The retarding performance of disodium hydrogen phosphate is specially studied by means of the data of contrast tests, and the influence law of the disodium hydrogen phosphate to the solidification characteristis of cement-sodium silicate slurry has been got. The different formulas of cement-sodium silicate slurry are designed according to the initial setting time.

Abstract:Shougang Jingtan Co. is a large modernization outstanding quality iron and steel base in Caofeidian Island, which was newly built on a ground developed by hydraulic fill sand. Analysis was made on the geological conditions and commonly used methods of foundation pit support and dewatering in construction site; and the suggestions were also put forward to the foundation pit support and dewatering design for the existing buildings in construction site as well as the scheme selection.

Abstract:According to the characteristics of karst development in Zhongliang reservoir, the high pressure cement grouting is adopted mainly with some other grouting technologies combination. Abstract:Under some fixed sintering temperatures,the effects on the sintering properties and microstructures of Re(La) content in Fe-based matrix were studied. The optimum mechanical properties of Fe-based matrix were attained at the La content of 0.1%. The distribution of matrix and the retention of diamond in matrix were also improved with proper La addition.

Abstract:The surrounding rock of multi-arch tunnel is intermittence jointed rock masses in most cases; it’s more realistic to analyze the deformation and failure mode characteristics of this kind of rock with discontinuous deformation analysis (DDA) method. The deformation and failure process of surrounding rock of Jinjishan multi-arch tunnel was simulated and the whole failure process was divided into 3 stages: rock deformation, surface subsidence and slip plane appearing above the mid-partition; slip planes (or bands) forming on both sides of tunnel; the rock mass instability above the mid-partition and rapid collapsing of rock mass above the tunnel. The paper studied the deformation and failure characters of shallow and deep surrounding rock in Jinjishan tunnel with the conclusion that the sidewall of the tunnel, the dome or the inside spandrel close to mid-partition and the outside spandrel would be first deformed.
