Abstract:Multifunctional complex additive is a new drilling composite material of organically modified bentonite developed for drilling in the complex formation. The successful application of multifunctional complex additive in Yitanghu district ZK11-1 hole of Dunhuang indicates that it has effective wall protection and anti-pollution ability, with which the saturated brine drilling fluid prepared can be used for drilling in salt-gypsum stratum such as rock salt, sylvite and carnallite.

Abstract:Drilling deep hole of slim diameter is the main method in geological and mineral exploration, but pump suffocation is often encountered in engineering practice. It is a technical difficulty to improve the ability of reducing circulation resistance by scientifically calculation. By the establishment of hydrodynamic model, calculation formulas of circulation resistance in annulus and drill strings were theoretically derived. With the engineering practice, the paper analyzed and put forward the technical measures of improving the ability of circulation resistance reduction.

Abstract:This article describes the drilling construction process in complex formation of Sakoa coalfield with fully hydraulic driving drill in Madagascar; the construction difficulties in broken and leaking layers were overcome. The comparison was made on the advantages and disadvantages of fully hydraulic driving drill and spindle drill and introduced the construction conditions with foreign drill rig.

Abstract:Drilling design and optimization were researched. The development of casing program in block 1 of central Junggar Basin was discussed with the casing program optimization scheme put forward; a bit selection scheme was recommended base on the rock drillability profile and the evaluation of bit performance; and drilling fluid system optimization and application was also introduced. Abstract:The construction is difficult because of complex formation structure in Southern Gansu with fault alteration development, structural development and extremely fractural zone development. Effective analysis and study were made on borehole structure, mud property, drilling technology and construction management, the suitable drilling scheme was established. Abstract:For 100 meter depth geological drilling in offshore sand, directly coring in non-cementing loose sandy sediments formation without casing greatly reduces labor intensity and improves working efficiency. Hole wall collapsing, difficult cuttings upward, sand gushing and drill pipe sticking are often encountered in the core drilling investigation in offshore sand of Yellow Sea. The paper summed up the drilling process technology for the well of 100 meter depth in offshore sand and the prevention measures for downhole accident.

For this purpose, effective instruments USDC that are driven by an ultrasonic/sonic actuator are being developed to probe and sample rocks, ice and soil, and conduct in-situ astrobiology analysis. At the ultrasonic or sonic frequency, free mass driven by ultrasonic piezoelectric driver impacts to the bit to samples. Abstract:A set of effective mud technology was designed and applied to reduce the burying depth of steel casing and ensure the recovery in the large diameter bottom-enlarge grouting pile construction of MGM Grand Macao. The high inhibitive low solid mud was made with high quality bentonite and KHm treating agent which can reduce viscosity and inhibit hydration dispersion of formation. Air lift reverse circulation system was applied to clean the borehole, surface great circulation system to schedule mud and adjust mud property, intensified gravitative sedimentation and cyclone desanding to remove cuttings. The cuttings and wasted mud was carried away to avoid environment pollution after hardening treatment with low grade cement. The measures for reducing loss and cost were put forward by the calculation analysis on mud wastage.

Abstract:Accidents happen a lot in excavation engineering because some key processes, such as anchoring boring, grouting, tension and draining hole, are not strictly controlled. Abstract:PHC pipe pile foundation was used in the first phase project of Huawei production base in Langfang, which was the first application in Langfang area. Abstract:In the process of long-distance pipeline jacking, especially while encountering complex stratum such as sand and gravel layer, aimed at the problems of strata collapse or jacking failure caused by excessive increase of pipe jacking resistance, a study on the clay-free slurry′s lubricating and resistance-reducing wall-protecting properties has been carried out with plant gum and polymer as its main materials. Abstract:Combined pile-anchor supporting system with small diameter anti-slide pile and anchor rod was adopted for slope reinforcement in Shilong power station of Songjianghe, which replaced simple large diameter anti-slide pile and realized the application of large equipment in steep slope. Borehole collapsing and water as circulating medium in artificial backfilled stone layer were solved by DTH hammer drilling technology. Abstract:Since bionic non-smooth theory is used in drilling field, bionic impregnated diamond bits have great advantages in improving drilling efficiency and prolonging lifespan and the bionic bits mainly depend on the bionic non-smooth arrangement of bit’s crown. The bionic non-smooth arrangement is made of several bionic elements; therefore according to circular arrangements of bionic elements, 13 different bits (including one common diamond bit) are designed and manufactured, each has different radial distance and circumferential distance. A series of experiments are conducted, it is showed that 2 bits (No.4 and No.11) have good performances which radial distances are 15d and 20d (the d is the diameter of bionic element) and circumferential distances are 30d and 35d. Compared to the common impregnated diamond bit, penetration rate and lifespan of No.4 are increased 16% and 100% and No.11 is increased 15% and 125%.

Abstract:The Fe-based matrix powder preconditioning was prepared by ball-milling method. The effects of milling time on microstructure and sintering properties of the powder were systematically investigated by means of SEM, XRD, Rockwell hardness tester and universal testing machine. The results show that with the increase of the milling time, the micro-particles are well dispersed and uniformly distributed, and crystal size of powder is decreased continuously. When the milling time is up to a proper time, dynamic balance state forms between grain growth and grain size decrease, meanwhile sintering properties are the highest. When the milling time exceeds 12h, the sintering properties of the powder reduce, and the powder is easy to aggregate.

Abstract:There are many faults and sericite slate sandwich development in initial diversion tunnel of Lianghekou hydropower station, especially f25, f3, f8 series, f4, f28 and other faults are composed of multiple secondary dislocation bands with wide fracture zone, poor rock integrity and unstable surrounding rocks. In order to ensure the safe operation of the diversion tunnel, Ⅳ and Ⅴ-class surrounding rocks inside the diversion tunnel should have consolidation grouting; and according to the requirement, grouting test should also be made. The paper mainly introduced the process of consolidation grouting test construction.
