Abstract:Existing form and main physical and mechanical properties of lunar rocks are directly related to the drillability, which are the basic premise and important basis for coring drill designing. Through a lot of investigation and analysis, it is found in samples in coring tubes that 40%~80% lunar rocks are in the form of large diameter particle and the proportion of lunar rocks in lunar samplers is up to 65%. The lunar rocks have wide particle size distribution with the tendency of particle size first decreasing and then increasing along with the depth increasing. Mare basalts is loose, the main physical and mechanical properties are density 3.26~3.51g/cm3, bulk density 3.04~3.34g/cm3, porosity 0~10%, compressive strength about 200MPa and dynamic tensile strength 114~160MPa.

Abstract:Drilling operation is very difficult in Shaling mining area in Laizhou of Shandong Province, where the drillability grade is 7~9, this typically complex formation is hard, brittle, loose, leakage and broken. Through a series of exploration and tests of the drilling fluid, flushing fluid formula was optimized to improve the drilling efficiency and reduce downhole accidents with safe production and high economic benefits. 117 holes have been completed in this mining area, the total drilling footage is up to 180795.10m with average depth of 1545.26m, and the deepest hole is 2117.70m.

Abstract:GHW2 in Ordos basin is an exploration well for shale gas, serious collapsing, rock falling and breaking occurred in the drilling process. According to these conditions, bi-polymer anti-caving fluid system was developed, which has wall protection, inhibitory and cementation properties, and is mainly aiming at the main difficulties encountered in drilling construction in breaking, collapsing, block falling and water sensitive formations. This system was applied in GHW2 with good effects of wall protection and core integrity.

Abstract:Besides high core recovery of drilling hole, high drilling efficiency and few drilling accident, low temperature foam drilling technology has characteristics of low thermal conductivity, low thermal capacity and little influence to borehole walls. The low temperature foam system is composed of air compressor, foam liquid tank, heat exchanger, foam generator and parameter monitoring system. The low temperature foam can be obtained in foam generator by mixing cooled low-temperature foaming agent and air. While coring drilling with the low temperature foam as circulation medium, the returned foam can be recycled again after defoaming. This technology has been applied in frozen formation in Mohe basin. According to the experimental data analysis, the low temperature foam drilling technology has little effect on the permafrost temperature, and high core recovery can meet the requirement of permafrost drilling.

Abstract:The designed depth of ZK6004 was 1450m in Yaozhan mining area of Shanxi with complex formation and hole leakage, the bit burning occurred easily because of this situation. The paper introduces the treatment experience of 2 bit burning accidents in this hole with the analysis on the causes. According to the different conditions, new methods of hole cutting and impacting were adopted. At the same time, the paper also summarizes the experience of pre-washing and the preventive measures for bit burning in deep hole with circulation loss, which can be reference to deep inclined borehole construction in leakage formation.

Abstract:The formation is complex in Kumar iron mine in Luanxian of Hebei Province, hard and slipping, severe leakage and tectonic development (partial fault) are often met during drilling. Based on the previous drilling experience, drilling technical measures and drilling construction quality assurance measures were put forward to deep drilling in complex strata of more than 1000m. From aspects of the hole structure, flushing fluid selection, drilling equipment and drilling tool configuration, the processing methods for solving the problems in hard and slipping, broken and leakage as well as collapse blocking formations were put forward, by which the drilling construction environment, the preparation of broad-spectrum retaining agent, anti caving plugging agent and polyacrylamide flushing fluid were improved with higher drilling efficiency and safe well completion.

Abstract:It has been proved by a construction test that by means of air foam DTH drilling, the borehole structure can be optimized and drilling parameters can be adjusted to improve ancillary equipments and construction technology. Especially rapid cuttings discharging can be realized for large diameter deep bedrock wells in drought and water shortage area, which can further improve the drilling efficiency to have higher market competition ability.

Abstract:The bridge pile is bored grouting one for Qingjianghe super large bridge of Xi’an-Chengdu high-speed rail; borehole drilling was difficult because of the cobble-boulder stratum crossing which seriously restricted the time limit for the project. Abstract:The paper introduced the composition and working principle of new stretching mechanism of iron roughneck for “crust Ⅰ” myriameter drilling rig, made theoretical calculation on the velocity of the parallelogram mechanism used and conducted dynamic simulation analysis by ADAMS software. With different load and drive modes on the stretching cylinders, the dynamics process of stretching mechanism was investigated. The results indicate that the design of stretching mechanism is reasonable, smooth and reliable.

Abstract:In the process of designing mechanical rope-arranging device, there are two outstanding problems. First, in order to ensure the rope next to roller shutter to change layers accurately, the transition circular groove with appropriate length should be designed on the end of double helix axis; then the moving distances of a turning circle of the roller rope-arranging device should match with the ropes of different diameters. To solve these problems, equations were established based on the common influencing factors of pitch and transmission ratio for accurate calculation. It is proved by the field testing that the rope-arranging device designed on the basis of the calculation results is practical and reliable.

Abstract:With an engineering case of side slope sliding protective control for K2542 750~810 in Guilin-Yangshuo expressway, the paper introduces the application of the combination of anchoring-drawing anti-slide pile and anchor spray technology for rapid sliding landslide protective strengthening. The landslide is mainly composed of rocks and soil of fault fracture zone with complex geological structure, rock breaking, large rock pores, rich groundwater in rainy season, complex composition of slope rocks and large difference in mechanical properties; what was more, it was in the rapid sliding stage, this technical methods and some comprehensive measures were taken in the engineering design and the construction with good effects.

Abstract:After 5·12 earthquake in Wenchuan, the slope stability has been severely damaged in earthquake area, many destroyed modes appeared, such as collapse, landslide, deformation, and so on. Pre-stressed anchor cable is the main method of preventing high slope harm, with large tonnage pre-stressed cable anchoring in stable rocks of slope to resist the deep slope failure and deformation by pre-stressing. It is important to monitor the pre-stress variation, through the pre-stressed state monitoring both in and after construction process, the reinforcement effects can be tested and based on the long-term monitoring results to evaluate the slope stability state, whether to take appropriate remedial measures can be decided. According to the slope anchor cable reinforcement of Futang hydropower station after earthquake and the stress monitoring, the paper discusses the stress loss of pressure-dispersive anchor and the variation rule.

Abstract:Based on the analysis on the requirements of PDC bit structure, 3 different types of PDC bit were selected for hard rocks directional drilling tests in underground coal mine in order to improve the drilling efficiency. The test results show that the flat-bottom PDC bit is not suitable for directional drilling in hard rock, the three-wing parabolic PDC bit and the four-wing straight angle PDC bit show the adaptability in hard rock directional drilling with long service life and high efficiency.
