Abstract:The drilling construction was difficult in Tongling copper-gold polymetallic ore concentration area of Anhui, where caves and fissures developed; long construction period and high cost were caused by serious drilling fluid loss in the drilling process. But good result was achieved by the preparation of asphalt balls which were used in ZK6616 hole for limestone and fractured marble formations plugging. This case can be a good reference to those formations where the conventional plugging means have no effect; and at the same time, it has an important significance for the loss zone drilling.

Abstract:The test well engineering of gas hydrate drilling is located in northwest of Qiangtang basin with altitude about 4998~5100 meters, where the hydrogeological and engineering geological environment is extremely complex with the lowest annual mean ground temperature and thick permafrost in Qinghai Tibet Plateau. The construction is very difficult with cleavage, fracture, small fault and groundwater extremely developed. In this paper, the practice and experience of test well engineering of gas hydrate drilling in Qiangtang basin are summarized on the improvement of coring tool structure, bit design, flushing fluid formulation and borehole structure, which could be reference to the exploration of gas hydrate and other mineral resources in high altitude regions in future.

Abstract:Filling hole is a kind of vertical drilling hole with high precision, drilling hole trajectory can not be controlled by the conventional drilling method under the conditions of formation deflection-promoting and large natural bending. By using directional drilling and MWD technology, the drilling trajectory in the whole construction process can be monitored and extended according to the trajectory design. The paper introduces the design of directional drilling, MWD, drilling hole straightening and sidetracking in the filling hole construction.

Abstract:47ZK3 was designed in depth of 2570m in Luanjiahe gold field of Zhaoyuan, string dripping off occurred at the depth of 2297m. To speed up the accident treatment progress and decrease the loss, same diameter deflecting was made with eccentric wedging sidetracking to bypass the accident section. By the optimization of the technical measures of design, manufacturing and installation of eccentric wedging as well as selection of deviation bits and branch drilling bits, key technical problems were solved in eccentric wedging fixation and inclined plane passing procedure, the branch hole was extended to hole termination finally.

Abstract:The difficulties of gas control are greatly overcome by coal bed crossing drilling for in-advance extraction in soft coal seam. But the hard rocks in roof and floor in some parts of the coal mine influence the drilling efficiency. According to the superiorities of geological core drilling, the hydro hammer was combined with PDC bit in the construction of coal bed crossing gas drainage hole in underground coal mine. Through the field practice in Panyi coal mine, it is proved that the drilling efficiency is improved by 83% comparing with the traditional rotary drilling and the service life increases nearly 5 times. In addition, by using water for flushing medium, there is no dust pollution with small noise. This technology is suitable for the construction in narrow space in mine roadway.

Abstract:In Waijidi mining area, the formation is complex with broken rocks. At the early stage of drilling construction, there is common existence of coring difficulties in shallow gossan type orebody, borehole curvature degree measuring, high requirements of environmental protection for flushing fluid preparation. Drilling scheme for complicated formation was made according to the geological and construction conditions, and based on the geological characteristics of exploration target, drilling process and operation were improved to meet the needs of geological work, enhance the reliability of the geological information and ensure the realization of mining exploration target.

Abstract:The continue production of oil and water wells is well settled by slimhole sidetracking technology, the recovery efficiency improvement with lowr cost and restoration of the “dead wells” are realized. Wen 75X1 well is a sidetracked slimhole located at Wen75 fault block of Shigezhuang structural belt of Wen'an slope, its terminal depth is 3376m with inclination of 34.64 degrees and openhole segment of 1164m. φ95.3mm small liner was put down for cementing, there were unfavourable conditions of small annular clearance and long cementing segment and it was difficult to keep casing in center position and ensure casing running down to the bottom. By adopting effective drifting methods, centralizer placing, elastic low density high strength cement slurry system and other cementing technologies, the quality detection results are 100% and 92% for cementing qualification rate and high quality rate respectively.

Abstract:Trailer mounted drilling equipments are widely used in water well and salt well construction due to its advantages of being convenient for rig relocation, easy for leveling and towering up operation with greatly shortened auxiliary time. Aiming at some problems of original trailer mounted rig, convenient SPT-1500 trailer mounted rig was developed. The difficulties of installation of two stage derrick was improved by extensible derrick, pulley position control was solved by mobile head sheave while double hoisting lifting. The paper introduces this rig about its structural features and the working principle with emphasis on its innovation points.

Abstract:With assembling and disassembling devices of quadrangular tube derrick on the ground, the assembling and disassembling can be completed on the ground. The installation is started from the derrick top, this first part is lifted a certain height by elevator, then the next begins. Abstract:The paper introduces the composition and characteristics of GBS-55 horizontal directional drilling machine. According to the operating characteristics of main mechanism of GBS-55 horizontal directional drilling machine and the actual working conditions, the hydraulic system was designed. The main features of this hydraulic system were analyzed and based on the design parameters of the hydraulic system, the design calculation and selection of the major hydraulic components were carried out. The practical application shows that this hydraulic system is stable and efficient with strong load adaptability.

Abstract:Combining the project practice, the paper introduced the application of new through-type self-developed hydraulic pipe cutter in the treatment of embedment accident of deep hole casing and wireline drilling rod. Such tool overcomes some disadvantages of the traditional hydraulic pipe cutter; and moreover, it has advantages of simple operation, high controllability and short pipe cutting time, and further, it is capable of effectively improving the treatment efficiency of deep hole embedment accident.

Abstract:For oil shale in-situ mining, mine shaft construction and foundation pit support, underground frozen wall should be built to prevent underground water flowing into the mining area and the leakage of oil and gas. Cooling liquid temperature of underground frozen wall not only affects freezing closure time, but also affects the refrigeration efficiency of the underground frozen wall and further affects the entire costs of the construction and operation. By the finite element simulation and the theoretical analysis on the underground temperature field in the refrigeration process, the influence law of cooling fluid temperature on the underground temperature field was found and the cooling liquid temperature was optimized. It was concluded that under refrigeration modes of refrigeration unit or air cooling, the appropriate temperature of cooling fluid should be -10 to -15℃, which could be the theoretical guidance to improve the refrigeration efficiency of underground frozen wall.

Abstract:Pile excavation damage often occur because of soft ground, especially in the regions along coast and river. Based on an engineering construction case of coastal power plant, by the statistical analysis on the data, this paper reveals the real reasons of pile foundation displacement, tilt and even broken while excavating. The excavation pile defects were found out by foundation pile core testing, ultrasonic testing and excavation validation. And according to the engineering case, it was put forward that reinforcement grouting methods could be taken for remedy and treatment, which was proved to be effective.

Abstract:For being adjacent to buildings, the retaining is very difficult in narrow foundation space. Based on a foundation pit engineering in Tianjin, this paper introduces a retaining method, by which the micro-pile top is connected with the foundation. The engineering practice shows that the construction is convenient and the horizontal displacement of supporting structure can be effectively controlled to ensure the safety of supporting structure, reduce the influence to the adjacent building and reduce the cost of foundation pit.

Abstract:The design depth of water-stop curtain wall was 34.6m under natural ground with complex surrounding environment and geological conditions. Based on the comprehensive analysis, various construction processes were explored. Three axis mixing cement pile water-stop curtain wall were constructed on the east, west and south sides and high rotary jet grouting water-stop curtain wall was used on north side. The unfavorable factors of narrow site, complex geological conditions and environment were overcome with good water-stop effect.

Abstract:The test was made with industrial waste-acid slag powder in place of cement as cementitious material to stimulate the activity of acid slag, improve comprehensive performance of mortar and reduce the cost of mine filling. Take the compressive strength as index, the test is carried out on cementitious materials which was made of single and composite excitation acid slag powder, the activators which can stimulate the acid slag power were determined. 4 activators were selected for orthogonal test and 3 optimal excitation formulations with different ages were obtained.

Abstract:Nanotechnology is a new technology developed in recent years. At present many countries are researching on the new technology and its applications. Equipment for manufacturing nanodiamond with detonation method has been developed in Russia. The nanodiamond has been produced in Ukraine. The Institute of Superhard Materials in Ukraine has worked out nanodiamond bit and done experimental work in laboratory .The results of the experimental work show, that nanodiamond bit is a good tool for drilling engineering , can obtain excellent social and economic results and have good future in geological exploration and mining industry. It is suggested, that nanodiamond bit studying and using are strengthened in China.

Abstract:According to the typical situation of deep hole in hard rocks and strong abrasive formations in some areas of Shandong, the design, development and improvement were made for impregnated diamond bit in raw material, formulation, mold and producing proceedings, and long-time and multi-level tests for bits were carried out. On the basis of the test data, the design parameters of the bit are determined, and a new type impregnated diamond bit suitable to deep hole drilling in hard rocks and strong abrasive formations has been developed.
